Tanalith E Timber Treatment Process
Tanalised E Pressure treated timber has been impregnanted with Tanalith E wood preservative under controlled conditions by vacuum pressure technology in an enclosed system.
- Step One
The timber is loaded into the treatment vessel. A vacuum is now created within the vessel, drawing air out of the timber itself in order to make it absorb more of the preservative. - Step Two
The vessel is now flooded with Tanalith E wood perservative. The timber now begins to absorb the treatment solution.
- Step Three
Now the vessel is fully flooded, hydraulic pressure is applied. This forces the preservative deep into the structure of the timber. - Step Four
The final vacuum extracts the excess preservative solution, which is pumped back into storage.
- Step Five
Low pressure inside the timber draws in the surface solution when vented to atmosphere. The now treated timber is now left to dry.
