Opepe Hardwood Decking
Opepe is an exceptionally strong and durable tropical hardwood, renowned for its natural resistance to rot, decay, moisture and insect attack. Its excellent strength and longevity make it an ideal choice for both domestic and commercial decking projects, particularly in exposed or high-traffic areas.
Featuring a distinctive golden-orange to yellow-brown colour, Opepe offers a warm, natural appearance that complements a wide range of outdoor spaces. Over time, the timber naturally weathers to an attractive silver-grey finish if left untreated, or it can be oiled to help maintain its original colour.
With a Class 1 durability rating, Opepe provides outstanding performance in demanding outdoor environments. Its high density and dimensional stability make it particularly suitable for decking, walkways, bridges, jetties and other external applications where strength and durability are essential.
Opepe decking can be machined to suit individual project requirements, with a choice of profiles and finishes available.
