Our UC4 treated stakes and strainers are designed for demanding outdoor applications where timber will be in direct contact with the ground. UC4 (Use Class 4) treatment provides enhanced protection against fungal decay and wood-destroying organisms, making them a durable choice for agricultural, equestrian and general fencing applications.
Our range includes incised UC4 stakes and strainers, where small incisions are made into the surface of the timber to assist the penetration of preservative during treatment.
Available in a variety of lengths and diameters to suit different fencing requirements.

UC4 treatment is specifically intended for timber used in ground-contact applications. Not all pressure-treated timber is suitable for ground contact, so choosing the correct treatment class is an important consideration when selecting fencing timber.
